Mary K. "Katie" Beaird

Mary K. "Katie" Beaird was born in Deridder, Louisiana in 1985 to Russell and Wanda Beaird. Katie is the third of four children born to her parents. Katie, her siblings, and her father all graduated from high schools located in Vernon Parish. Katie has had the pleasure of growing up here in Vernon Parish. She is honored to be raising her family here in Vernon Parish as well.  

 

Katie attended school in Anacoco for many years and subsequently graduated from Hornbeck High School in 2004. She completed her undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge earning a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature in 2009.  Afterwards, Ms. Beaird earned her Juris Doctorate from A. A. Lenoir Hall at the Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2012. Following her passing the Louisiana State Bar Exam later that same year, she began working as a Law Clerk at the 30th Judicial District Court in Leesville, Vernon Parish, Louisiana. After clerking for the local judges for almost a year, she immediately began working for herself as a Solo Practitioner, focusing on Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, and Civil Rights.

Mary K. "Katie" Beaird is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and is in Good Standing.
